[KDE] Desktop gone with keyboard shortcut?

Stupid, I know. But my cat was leaning against my laptop when I was working and pressed ... something ... on the keyboard and I lost my workspace. It's not a Desktop switch thing (Cntrl-Fn, where n is the desktop), I can still see that my apps (with unsaved work in them I might add) are running, but they're 'gone' or hidden, along with my wallpaper, files on my desktop, and widgets.
Must have been some keystroke combination, but I'm stumped as to what and how to get back to where I was.

    Any ideas?

I'm thinking maybe you got switched to an activity. I've done that by mistake somehow and stumbled upon it being in an activity and switched it back to Desktop. The below may help.

I think you're right (I just tried it, and that's what it looked like -- an empty desktop).

Cats are evil. Likely it was up to no good.
