[CONFIGURATION] ipod mounting when attached vs. at boot

    Hey All,

When I plug in my iPod's USB cable then boot into 14.04 it mounts correctly. If I attach it after I login it doesn't. I have edited /etc/fstab, but it has no effect on the ipod mounting. It's as if this is controlled somewhere else. After Googling it seems related to gvfs and/or udev. Is there a config file line somewhere that I can copy for mounting at boot and use for mounting at attachment?

    Thanks In Advance,

Maybe a couple of screenshots will help:

Correctly mounted - Shows in device notifier, partition contents info and mount location

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_m...it?usp=sharing

Incorrectly mounted - Doesn't show in device notifier, no partition contents or mount location

      https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_m...it?usp=sharing

The only difference is in the correct case I plugged the USB cable in before booting and the incorrect case I plugged it in after I logged in. Sorry, I couldn't make the images show in the post, but you can open them in a new tab.
