Python widgets not loading

I just did a clean install of Kubuntu 14.04.1 and I can't get a couple of python widgets to load. They are 'Currency Converter' and 'gmail plasmoid'. They both give the same error message:
could not create a python ScriptEngine for the [gmail plasmoid] [Currencey Converter] widget

Somewhere else on this forum it was suggested to install python-kde4, which I did (and did a shutdown/restart) but it didn't help. Somewhere else it said to reinstall python3-pykde4, which I also did but to no avail.
I have written to the two authors but as of yet haven't heard from them.
Is there an easy solution to this problem and am I the only one with this issue?

Okay - I found the answer in another post - sudo apt-get install plasma-scriptengine-python
Now I have both python base widgets working
