    [SOLVED] Login sound lost.

    Hi!

After upgrading to 13.10, login-logout sounds lost.
Is it possible to bring them back?

If I'm not wrong the related setting used to be at notification panel -> application tab, but I can't see it there, any more.

Hello. You want to go to System Settings > Application and System Notifications > Manage Notifications. From the drop-down menu select 'KDE Workspace'. You will see an entry called 'Login'. Just tick the checkbox to 'Play A Sound' and the old startup sound will be back. It was removed by default for the 13.10 release and a post exists here on the forums somewhere explaining the rationale. Hope that helps.

Did you scroll down any? there should be many, many more entries in there. On my system, it is just below "KDE Free Space Notifier Daemon"
