[SOLVED] Screensaver

Hi All,

I did a fresh install of 13.04 on two computers. Computer 1 screensave and Update notifier works, Computer 2 Screensaver and
Update Notifier works about 25% of of the time. Computer 2. I Installed with /home on a seperate partition. Could this be the problen?

No and most people would recommend using a seperate /home partition.

Hi Guys

I need some suggestions on how to get Muon Updates and ScreenSaver Working.

I have 2 computers. both with new installs of 13.04. Computer 1 works fine, computer 2 Muon Updater Manager and Screensaver (most of the Time) dosen't work.
The only differance is computer 2 has a sererate Home Partition. Compiter 2 will show updates only if I open Update Manager and change settings (
Example Show The Number of Updates) and then Apply. It then does not Notify on The next updates.
Screensaver seems to work (some of the Times) only when I'm online. I use Firefox.

Both computers Asus Motherboards Wth AMD processors,
Everything Worked under 12.10 with an Upgrade to 13,04

Any Suggerstion?

I did a new install of 12.04 and up-graded to 13.04 and now everything seems to work OK, I wonder if it was the way I partitioned my new Hard Drive.
I onginaly partition as sda1=winxp, sda2=Linux, sda3=Extended. sda6=Home, sda7=Backup. sda5=swap
Now sda1=Win, sda3=extended,sda7=Linux, sda8=Home, Sda6=Backup, sda5=Swap
