I'd be glad to help. Now to the obvious question, is there a 'short-list' of what needs doing? Constraints etc

Sorry, I have been busy the last couple of days so haven't been able to get much more done on this project.

I have created a google doc for people to start adding content to if they want to help. This should help minimise duplicate effort.

Is Calligra default now? My 12.04 came with Libre Office...

I think libre office is still default, but I wanted to keep the default widget in a generic kde state.

However, we could also do with alternative pages for kubuntu specific stuff so they can be swapped out at will.

I dont think that any KDE distro is using Calligra as default yet.... Opensuse seems to be using Libreoffice. Charkra uses Libre Office. Mandriva is using Libre Office....

Didn't think Charkra used any gtk based program by default... But there is no harm in creating a page for libre office and calligra... It might even be possible to create dynamic pages depending on what is installed (though I haven't looked into this yet)

Ive been going through all known KDE distros and havent found a single one using Calligra by default.

However, I just read that the next version of Chakra will have Calligra by default.

I tried to open your doc at work, but unfortunately the college's version of MS word and wordpad says that it is an unknown file system, so I'll have to check it later! l0l

                              Woah!!!

                              Bravo!

I am SURE that your work will be a great inspiration to others to supply some text also!

If we can get a few folks working then when one of them has to do something else, somebody else can do a little more.

We could be THE distro for the community really doing obvious stuff for the distro!

                              Bravo again!

I have pushed some changes to github which contain some basic content (on the desktop page) and improvements, what do you guys think? Its still very rough around the edges and incomplete, but what do you think of the interface in general?
