I am running Kubuntu 11.10 AMD64 with two 27 inch Samsung LCDs at 1920x1080 connected to a nVidia 8800GTX.
When I drag windows from one monitor to the other, some windows will resize themselves by maximizing horizontally but not vertically. This mostly happens with Dolphin file manager but has been exhibited once in a while by other windows.
I've looked through the window settings in the settings manager and desktop effects control panel and can't find anything that would do this on purpose.
Has anyone ran into this strange issue before? Any ideas?
