this one has me puzzled.
It is a liteon dvdr/rw IDE cable.
suddenly it is not automounted and I can't find it in
/cdrom0/
or in
/media/
however the floppy is shown in /media/
I tried: sudo mount /media/cdrom0/ -o unhide but no joy.
What is even more curious is that I can burn a dvd using K3B, it sees the device and the blank dvd.
But then... when I put the burned dvd(it is burned, i checked on another machine) K3B does not see the dvd!
The device is shown on hardware boot, phoenix Bios.
So...has me stumped. I even replugged the cable to end(IDE) no go, middle(IDE) no go...so just don't know.
Any suggestions?
