    DSL Connection

Just downloaded the latest ISO and still I cannot set my DSL connection via the so called panel network management. All I get is "setting network address". I can enter my DSL details now, unlike the previous version, but still this does not appear as an option to connect with. I see all sorts of excuses for this but Kororaa uses the same and connects fine. Even Bodhi using Enlightenment manages this although I have to disconnect eth0 first and then connect to DSL.

There are many potential users of this connection type where I live and Ubuntu is the most favoured system after Windows. I'm sure many more would use the KDE version if only they could connect with it.

    Have you tried from terminal
    Code:
    sudo pppoeconf
and added yourself to the DIP group?

Not sure what "adding myself to the DIP group means", but I did try setting up via the terminal. All I got was some sort of scan which stuck at 100%.
