I have Kubuntu installed, and use the Search and Launch. All fine. When I open some application, I can get the Exposé-Effect, called 'Present Windows'. All fine.
Though, behind those neatly arranged zoomed-out applications, there is a desktop. And this desktop contains a whole lot of mounted partition icons, which looks very ugly. I have yet to find out which desktop this is, and how I could remove those displayed 'mount'-icons. I can change the very background image, but where can I stop the display of those icons?
(I have all sorts of Ubuntu, xfce, enlightenment ... installed; and I really wonder where this desktop comes from!?)
Thanks in advance, Uwe
P.S.: What I want to do, I don't want to see the exposé ('Present Windows') over a background of just some other desktop, including all mount icons, but rather over a clean background of my choice, be it black, any other colour, a gradient, etc.
