@ GreyGeek - Is it necessary to use the command line method? Can i update from the Muon manager instead?

I'm new to Linux, and i really dont know how to install software from terminal by using sudo command. All help regarding ppa installation is welcome. Smiley

No, you don't have to use the command line, I just gave an example because you asked.

Personally, I prefer Synaptic, which is also in the repository, but MUON is fine if you like it.

The launchpad sites offering ppa's as sources for apps also include instructions on how to use the command line to install the ppa's and the security keys with the same command.
