    configure Krunner bookmark search? (SOLVED)

Hi, does anyone know a way to configure Krunner bookmark search?

I use firefox and chromium, but it seems that when I hit alt+f2 and try to type in a web address kde only looks for bookmarks in konqueror.

Thinking the easiest way to do it would be to import my bookmarks.html file into konqueror, I found that the only ones imported were the generic ones and none of those I added were imported.

I could of course do it manually but there are about 30 of them so it's hassle. Does anyone know of a way to reconfigure krunner to look in firefox or chromium instead please?

    Thanks

    Ian

The default krunner bookmarks plugin is for the Konqueror.

Krunner and making new runner plugins:
    > Plasma/Krunner
    > Development/Tutorials/Plasma/AbstractRunner

For the Chromium > Browse Chromium Bookmarks:
    Description:
Is a plasma runner that searches in Chromium's bookmarks. Ideal for all kde users that surf the net with Chrome/Chromium that now is a little more integrated with KDE.
(I don't have the Chromium -> I can't say how good/bad the Browse Chromium Bookmarks is)

    Hmm -

Trying with the Opera and the Firefox.

    Opera
The Konqueror imports the Opera bookmark files (*.adr) to the Konqueror's XML (~/.kde/share/apps/konqueror/bookmarks.xml).

After this the standard krunner bookmark plugin is finding the bookmarks.

    Firefox
Exporting (from the FF) the Firefox/Mozilla bookmarks to the bookmarks.html.
Importing the Mozilla bookmarks.html with the Konqueror.

After this the standard krunner bookmark plugin is finding the bookmarks.

It should also work with firefox and opera (I don't know about chromium)...The bookmarks runner should find the bookmarks for the browser that is set as the default browser in Systemsettings (konqueror, firefox or opera).

I don't use firefox, but the krunner works with opera bookmarks here.

          Thanks to you both

The problem was that I had set Chromium as the default. Setting firefox as the default and rebooting sorted it.
