I like having windows not in focus to be mostly transparent. However, certain windows I want to be solid all the time. For example, video players and Hulu.
I have tried using the Advanced Windows settings and set Inactive Opacity Force 100% in both Special Window Settings and Special Application Settings but it seems to not take effect.
I have tried other settings, like border-less and "Keep Above Others" and they work as expected.
Is there anywhere else I should look for settings?
I'm using 10.04.1 with KDE 4.5.3 backported and kwin window manager.
EDIT: It appears the Special Application Settings don't save and the Special Window Settings aren't taking effect.
