Amarok & task manager problem

Hi,
On KDE 4.5.1+ (lucid and maverick) Amarok (2.3.2) gets a task manager (taskbar) entry for its main window (??) even if it is launched in tray/hidden mode and the task bar entry does not go away unless I click on the tray icon and open the main window. Is this a bug, and does anybody have any ideas on how to solve it?

Not sure I get the gist of your issue. However, here, on my rig, Amarok launches fine, displays on the Panel/Task Manager fine, and shuts down fine, leaving no vestige of its self.
