How to get back the desktop folder plasmoid?

Hi all:

When I first installed KUBUNTU, there was the Desktop folder that allowed me to see the various document subdirectories. I removed it (I clicked on the X button if I remember) and now I'd like to bring it back and add not only the document subdirectoris but the programs I use alot.

Any tips?

the esey way.....open dolphin.......drag a folder you want displayed like that to the screen and drop it.....a box will pop up .....chose folder view.

Right-click the desktop and select "Add widgets". Choose the "Folderview" widget and drag it onto the desktop.

ya I'm not quite shure what KDE ver. that started in .....but I know I liked it as soon as I triped across it.
