I have an iMac G3 Special Edition which has a 400 Mhz Power PC processor and 256 Mb of ram. At first I put Ubuntu ppc 10.04 on it, but it was lagging pretty bad so I went into Terminal and got the Kubuntu Desktop. After it installed and I rebooted the computer it was then KDE (obviously). I logged in and only a Konsole window appeared. I thought the rest of it was just lagging behind so I used it to delete the Ubuntu Desktop. Nothing else happens. Only a Konsole window is there. I closed it and it logged me out. I logged back in and still only the Konsole window is there. What do I do?

Re: At login only Konsole pops up.
I had a similar machine, with a similar amount of RAM. I could only get Xubuntu to run - and then older versions e.g. 8.04 not 10.04.
