Hi,
I am a newbie at linux. I tried to install kubuntu 10.1 on my desktop as "install inside windows as application".
It created a partition (15gb) per my instruction and asked me to reboot.
On reboot I see the boot menu.
When I select "kubuntu" all i see is "grub>".
What do i do now? How do I start linux? It does not recognize "boot" command.
I thought it is going to work like any other other application
I install in windows, so once I log in windows I start linux.
When I log into windows, I do not see any way to start linux. There is no application.
Also, my hard drive on windows is missing those 15gb. So it seems that the linux installation
did that partition but now how do i access that?
Please help. At the minimum I would like to recover my 15gb of hard drive space that I have lost
with this exercise.
Thanks.
