    Kadressbook in kde 4.4.1

I have organise my contacts and the address book to groups with their names etc. After the upgrade to kubuntu lucid and to kde 4.4.1 i found that my contacts group have gone and remain only some contact i have!! I see that they have completely change and kadressbook. There is no option to create easy group for the contacts and the new menu system is very poor and is not easy to work with it.
Why they have break kadressbook like this?

It is unfortunately true. Expect improvements/breakages, etc. and always have your data backed up. This akonadi conversion for pim data is proving to be one hell of a ride...

That actually worked for me - recreating, I mean.

But you should be able to load your "old style" address book into kontact (~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf). Perhaps that will give you your groups back...

Yes, something certainly did not go according to plan :P However, I keep on using it as I think it is quite simply superb software.

Anyway, glad TB works for you
