Virtual Desktops (Plasma Theme and Panels)

Is it possible to have a different Plasma theme per virtual desktop and also have panels and panel settings that are completely independent of each other for each workspace?? I'm using Kubuntu 9.10 / KDE 4.3. I've sorted things such as workspace activities, different wallpapers etc...

This isn't exactly what you want, (it seems like you may have found some of them, already) but perhaps these Seven Tips will help. I use several of them.

Thanks very much for the link. I've Googled my query to death and can't find much at all on it - my terminology probably sucks a bit mind!
