    KDE menu and other problem

    Hey
Got two issues, the kde menu editor dosen't seem to work. For instance, i've tried moving the 'windows applications' folder to be a sub folder under 'crossover'. A ghost folder is created, but in the actual menu dosen't change.

The second issue is this: I've installed microsoft office using crossover linux. Word and everything seems to work well under GNOME, but not under KDE, is there anything i can try to fix it?

What version of Kubuntu are you running? Are you trying to 'drag and drop' within the menu to change things? If you are running a recent version of Kubuntu - Intrepid or newer - you need to use the Menu Editor. Right-click the K Menu button and you'll see it.

Are you 'dragging and dropping' or using the highlight and cut, highlight and paste?

Try the other way - highlight and 'cut' then highlight and 'paste'

I'm experiencing a similar problem such that I create a sub-menu and put e.g the games item inside it and save it, but in actual it turns out as if nothing was changed at all; no new sub-menu or menu ever!

I've tried both cut&paste and drag&drop methods and nothing works in either menu styles available.
