How do I use .jpg's for the wallpaper?

Sorry Liquidator,
If I go to the home/Troy folder on theleft of the taskbar and click on the Documents folder there are several .jpg's I would like to use as my wall paper...Do I need to move them to some where when I right clicl on them? Or do I open them first to "GwenView"??

On my own behalf I have installed Opera....yay...
Jeez microsoft has made me lazy...!

Right-click on the desktop and select "Appearance settings", under "Wallpaper" select Type > Image then click the browse icon to get your file.
