I've been scouring the web trying to figure this out, without luck. I'm unable to get any python plasmoids to work on my Intrepid install with KDE 4.2. I have installed the python-plasma and python-plasma-examples packages. Trying to add the Python Clock to my desktop results in a box with the error:
The same thing happens if I try to add a test plasmoid I created from the instructions here: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/...PythonPlasmoid
One python plasmoid seems to work. I have a very simple "hello world" plasmoid that I found here: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/...GettingStarted This one shows up correctly.
If I run these in plasmoidviewer, I get the same result as just adding them to the desktop.
Any suggestions?
