    /usr/share/doc/kde/HTML...

    After getting Kubuntu installed and doing some basic analysis of what resulted I noticed the subject directory. I assume that the subdirectories contain html files and it looks like there are lots of them. For a newbie this looks like something that should be very useful. However, it is very unclear how one is supposed to use this content. Navigating the file system trying to find things is quite tedious.

    I'm hoping there is some user friendly interface for using this content which I simply need to discover. I'd be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

    About /usr/share/doc

    > Linux Training - Documentation in /usr/share/doc Directory
    The /usr/share/doc Directory Path

    The Linux doc (for documentation) directory is the parent directory for a few hundred subdirectories that contain information regarding software components. All of the subdirectories begin with the name of a software package and may end in "-x.x.x", where the "x"s are numbers that show the current version number of the software.

    I'm hoping there is some user friendly interface for using this content which I simply need to discover.
    There should be:

    - K > Help (life-buoy icon) -> KDE Help Center should start. (KDE 3.5)
    - K > Applications > Help (life-buoy icon) -> KDE Help Center should start. (KDE 4)
    - Press Alt + F2 and type khelpcenter
    - A KDE application: Help > Handbook ->KDE Help Center should start with the application Handbook
    - Press F1 -> KDE Help Center should start with the application Handbook
    Before you edit, BACKUP !
