I installed the Oxygen white cursor theme some time ago. No problems, except that when the screen saver kicks in (blank screen), the mouse pointer is still visible. Before I installed this cursor theme, the default cursor theme didn't do this.
Last night I changed the theme to KDE classic. The mouse cursor changed immediately. I clicked the Apply and OK buttons. But, after a reboot this morning, the cursor theme is back to Oxygen white. What's with that? Is this another bug in KDE 4.1.3? The initial change was 'saved' as I went from the default to Oxygen white. So why isn't a subsequent change being 'saved' as well?
