I downloaded the windows version of Safari to see if it would run, using KDE 4.1 and Wine, without much success. It installed OK, but just freezes and the window just turned to black and white.

No...I haven't even gave it a thought. I have found that installing browsers under WINE are quite troublesome.Comment

Wine works for quite a few things. One that I really need it to was the Citrix Client. Works great. Browsers I've had very little success.Comment
