KDE 4 Wallpaper span and how to remove KDE3

Ok so first off, I think that I am now officially sold on KDE4. But is there a way to make the wallpaper span across multiple monitors. I know the wallpaper I'm using will span both of my screens since it did that in 3 but in 4 I can't seem to figure it out.

Also now that I am really enjoying 4 is there a simple way to just remove kde3? Thanks for everyones help.

Kubuntu II on both Laptop and Desktop and some servers here at the office
