I don't know the reason why Konqueror opens webpages as text using advanced text viewer on view mode by default. I've tried to change it on configuration but when i move up KHTML at first position on html association the changes doesn't take effect. Any solution?

I'm not sure; I don't have that problem, but I've installed KDE from trunk. Try running this from Konsole (copy and paste):
Then, (re)start Konqueror. A new, default web browsing profile should be created, hopefully enabling Konqueror to display web pages as it should.Code:mv ~/.kde4/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing ~/.kde4/share/apps/konqueror/profiles/webbrowsing.bak

Switch to FireFox (3).
Not the FireFox 2.
(Which is in "Add and Remove" list.)
Make it your 'default' Browser, and take it from there.
I did. (Konqueror went a bit 'iffy'..on me, so, i changed it.)Comment
