Wow! After the 77 package update tonight (had to deal with the infamous 'will break package' issue by using sudo dpkg --configure -a sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install -f) and a restart of KDE (Ctrl+Alt+BkSp), konqueror is no longer crashing! That's a real improvement.

Re: No more Konqueror crashes - KDE 4.0.83 (KDE 4.1 Beta2)
Jeez, I can't stand it. Kon bombs on me at the drop of a hat either wiping or locking the whole session. I'm temporarily using (KU)buntu in Live mode as the file system on my HD is kind of messed up and I haven't had the patience recently to get into it. Anyway, I was already on my last nerve and Kon really got on that one, so I installed FF and I was able to browse, do my webmail, etc. for several hours w/o a crash (tho it finally did). And I'll be installing Seamonkey when I finally get KU installed to the drive (if I do). AFAIC Kon will soon inhabit the trash bucket. Makes a very bad impression on a first time KU user that FF wasn't installed as the default browser anyway. I may even drop back to Linspire 6 as when I had it temporarily installed, it was very stable and that's what I'm looking for in a Linux distro.
