Hi,
One user from IRC channel asked me to post it here for help.
I usually keep my system up-to-date applying all package updates that are released.
I usually don't leave my IM opened, but today I had to for a meeting. I have Kopete configured to display K notifications everytime I receive a message. But the K notifier is crashing my X every time I receive a message and click in "open". If I disable it, it does not crash and I am able to open with "i" notification without any problems.
I decided then to inspect the logs, without any success. Xorg and kdm logs does not provide me any information regarding the crash.
I am using 2.6.24-17 kernel and KDE3 on Hardy.
I'm able to open a bug report, but I don't feel comfortable to open it without any useful information for the team. So, does anyone have a hint for me? I disabled the K notification on Kopete and Konversation... so my system is not crashing for now... but I want to have this feature on... =\
Thanks in advance,
Best regards,
Guilherme Blanco
