On my computer KDE4 appears to run slowly, and I do believe it should run comfortably. My conclusion is that it has been compiled with the --debug parameter (Correct me if I am wrong). Does anyone know if this is the case? And if so, should this be the case? Again correct me if I am wrong, but I believe KDE4 developers are likely to be compiling from trunk so could future releases be compiled with the --release parameter please? Thanks.
