Dolphin query regarding viewing files by type

Hi

I would like to view files by file-type in Dolphin but this doesn't appear when I select detail view. Does anyone know if this is possible. I'm guessing it must be hidden away somewhere in the menu options but I've not discovered it so far.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't believe you can with d3lphin (KDE3's version), but KDE4's Dolphin seems to include that under "View -> Sort by -> Type".

Thanks for your input. I'm surprised that it is not possible to view by type. I guess I will have to upgrade to KDE4 at some point.
