Ever since I upgraded to KDE4 earlier today I've had all kinds of problems with flash embeds. Originally it couldn't even load any and said that I needed the plugin to play but when I tried saying okay it said that I already had the plugin for flash. So I went into adept and got gnash which at least, does something. When I go to video a youtube video a number of different problems will occur, in the best case scenario just the video controls will be all scrambled or the video will just be more pixelated than it should me. In a little bit worse cases the video will skip a lot and look more like a slideshow than a video with a giant 0 flashing on the screen every few frames. Now in the very worst situations it will completely freeze up firefox, or even my entire computer forcing me to restart. I have never had any problems like this ever before and everything runs fine as long as I don't try to use flash, but the internet without flash for a prolonged period of time can become very boring and even annoying.
