Popups and Settings windows in UL corner

When i open Adept, the popup that asks for my password is in the far UL corner and I have to use alt to drag it to the center of the screen. I get the same problem when I choose the task manager settings. Does anyone know hwo I can fix this? I move them every time but don't understand why they are way up there instead of centered on the screen.
