I just want to know something about the naming scheme of the KDE4 packages in this repo:.
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu gutsy main
When reloading the list of packages I see a lot of upgradeable packages. To make an example, from this version
kwin-kde4_4:4.0.0-0ubuntu1~gutsy1~ppa1
to this one:
kwin-kde4_4:4.0.0-0ubuntu3~gutsy1~ppa1
What means this difference?
I'm wondering if the package was recompiled from a recent KDE4 SVN snapshot or the sources are the old ones from January 11 but repacked to integrate better in (K)Ubuntu (The initial bug with icons not displaying i Kubuntu was resolved with a package upgrade, which was a packaging and not a KDE bug.)
Thank You.
