Re: Customizing Kubuntu
What are you wanting to customize ? If you want widget for your desktop Superkaramba. To change launch button and launch menu theme KBFX. Wallpaper, icons, themes, look at www.kdelook.org. GKrellm is a nice system monitor that stays on desktop with alot of theme. Others you can look at Gdesklet,Adesklets, gdeskcal, conky.Registered Linux User #418555
Kubuntu User #9254

aptosid 2010-01 Xfce / aptosid 2010-01 KDE-Lite
Debian Wheezy Xfce / Kubuntu 10.04
aptosid 2011-01 Xfce / aptosid 2011-01 KDE-Lite
Debian Testing Gnome
Debian Sid Gnome
Epidemic 3.2
ALL pulseaudio free by default

Re: Customizing Kubuntu
Automatix is for installing you do not need it to customize. The list of programs I gave you can be installed through Adept just do a search for them.Registered Linux User #418555
Kubuntu User #9254

aptosid 2010-01 Xfce / aptosid 2010-01 KDE-Lite
Debian Wheezy Xfce / Kubuntu 10.04
aptosid 2011-01 Xfce / aptosid 2011-01 KDE-Lite
Debian Testing Gnome
Debian Sid Gnome
Epidemic 3.2
ALL pulseaudio free by default
