It's called windscribe. They have a DEB package. It's really free - for 10G/month.
Just type windscribe login (the first time).
After that, windscribe connect will VPN you to a random location. windscribe connect <location> will let you choose one. windscribe locations will list them.
windscribe disconnect will give you your IP address back.
Just windscribe will list all options.

Beats openvpn hands down for simplicity and reliability, IMO.

Windscribe is using Openvpn, actually. Though like most, they do after wireguard as a different backend.

Not sure if free VPN services are all that trustworthy, or all that reliable. Can't beat the price, though, even the yearly plan.
My current provider is less expensive, and has a nice easy to use GUI with all the same features, if not more, as well as command line. This might be worth looking at if I ever decide to switch to a different VPN

Well, me, I just need it for one particular instance, like once every two weeks, for an idiotic geolocating place.
So whether it's "trustworthy" or not, as long as it works...
Openvpn drove me crazy with config files and all. This, just worked on the first try.
Maybe someone with similar needs might use the simplicity.

VPN providers are mainly run using openvpn on their servers, or wireguard, etc. The good ones offer easy ways to set up the user's system to connect to them. That's all their software does. I haven't messed with certs and ovpn files in years and years.
Well, I lie. I did have to mess with this when I was setting up my own VPN server in the US while I was in Australia.

For free services, you might want to check for DNS leaks, etc to be safe, but yeah, if you are just watching something like the BBC from Ibiza, that is probably not going to get flagged by your provider.
