Hopefully, that's my intention. I made a small set of snippets, you can download them via the get new snippets section in the Kate or via https://store.kde.org/p/1530828/ if you want to install them manually.
It's not a comprehensive list of tags as my goal with this is to make it quick and painless to make and update a feed.
How to use:
1. First use the newfeed snippet to create the outline for the feed. You only need to use this on the creation of the feed.
2. The item snippet creates individual feed post with an automatic date stamp. This goes in between the channel tags.
3. The cdata snippet goes in between the item's description tags. This can be used to wrap html allowing to post an extract from a web page, use paragraphs etc
4. The enclosure snippet is for adding links to media files. Useful for anyone making a podcast feed. This goes in between the item tags.
