    Test for Browser privacy using

the "man in the middle" exploit. It turns out that between Chromium, FireFox and Brave, Brave is the best.

The browser in the study is Google Chrome, not Chromium (Brave itself is basically Chromium)

And the study (although it's fairly thorough) has very little to do with inherent security/privacy of the browsers involved and is mainly focused on the default settings of the browsers (which are usually easily modifiable for the privacy-minded)

For things like "search suggestions", it's necessary to send the things you type in search fields so search suggestions can be given, and for "malicious site protection" the urls you visit have to be sent so they can be checked against known hazardous urls.
If you don't want that, you should obviously disable those features in the browser settings.

If you just wish to pick a browser and start using it (without worrying about add-on installation and configuration), then yes, Brave is a fairly safe choice by default (but it has it's own problems coming with a questionable business model and track record of trying to monetize users with dubious practices).

      Thanks for catching that typo.
