I jumped on the next release this morning. Kubuntu 21.04 is available:

At this point it is still 99.9999% 20.10.. Will be for a little while, still, when they sync/merge things with Debian. The Kubuntu devs often don't start working on the Plasma stuff immediately, depending on what deps they may need to become stabilised first.

HH is Hirsute Hippo. Not much about Kubuntu update schedule yet. We already know for Ubuntu that Gnome 40, Kernel 5.11, Mesa 21 and Python 3.9 will be on the final release in April. Also, we may get Wayland default.
