    Well, yeah ...

    But people do it all the time, because of flashy web sites and presentation.

      It's absolutely astonishing how much plagiarism there is on the net. Try searching for anything remotely technical like "how to install the latest kernel" and you'll find 10-20 websites, all claiming to have the instructions and all with the exact same text. It's really entertaining when the instructions are not correct and they are repeated incorrectly on all the sites. It's all about ad revenue.

      I have this fantasy there will someday be an easy way to detect and block these sites for good.
