Piece of cake, lol! What is very interesting is 'quantum' computing. Causes brain-clouds.

You could be older than me. I'm a mere 78 and have been retired for only 11 years. I started on the IBM r02 Tabulator and the 540 gang punch in 1959.

It's amazing how fast computers developed.

I guess card punching on an IBM 360 in 1976 makes me a youngster!

C# is Microsoft. It's a very elegant and powerful programming language.

If you are going to be building non-*nux software then Visual Studio - the full version, is what you should use to build software in C# since it is built from the ground up to work with C#. The full version of VS makes C# a snap to work with. May not be compatible with Mono however.

I tried working with C# and Mono about 5 years ago. I still wake up screaming in terror in the middle of the night, feeling the icy claw of Mono grasping, grasping, clawing for my jugular.

Are you referring to Visual Studio Code or Visual Studio Community 2019?
