I use the Stylus extension on Google Chrome (and on Firefox).
Today, Stylus on Google Chrome was disabled because it can now read and modify stuff. I didn't capture the exact message.
I allowed it these permissions but I subsequently couldn't find any option to control these permissions

But the Firefox version of Stylus is at 1.4.20 and seems to explain things: (image 2)
