I don't know if this is the right place to request a new feature, but...
I normally have my laptop configured so suspend-to-RAM (either by closing the lid or explicitly from the KDE->Leave menu) requires that I enter my password to unlock on wakeup.
It would be nice to have a second Suspend option in the Leave menu that overrides the settings so that I can wakeup without a password.
The reason is I frequently run into problems where the only solution I know of, other than a reboot, is to suspend to RAM and try again. Wireless is a common one. Of course the correct solution is "fix the bug" but when it gets fixed, something breaks one or two updates later. Sort of an endless game of whack-a-bug.
