Several hours ago I found out that the name of the next Kubuntu distribution, ie 25.04 LTS at the sites:

I like the name Plucky Puffin as it is a small bird of which there are several species. The Atlantic puffin is shown in the image below.
At one site I found this comment: Because of their striking appearance they are also referred to as "clowns of the sea" and "sea parrots".
I consider a name to be very important as we often relate a name to a personality when dealing with people. For software names this can also be important as we start to build up our relationship with a new distribution. I am certainly looking forward to the development of Plucky Puffin.
