We're getting occasional whiffs of it here in Nebraska but our frequent rains washes out the smoke. Last night it was 51F just 200 miles west of here, and 61F here. Amazing for late August.

And now, 5:30AM, July 31st, the temps around the state vary from the low 59’s to the high 50’s. Our low this morning was 57F, again. Yesterday we had a pleasant 30 minute shower which put down 0.25”. Keeping things a lush green. During our drought period several years ago leaves were starting to turn brown and fall off by this time but the winters never got really cold and little snow fell.

Thank the Gods we have had some rain here in Sweden. We have been able to send some of the foreign firefighters home, presumably so they can help out another EU country, Greece.
