Official GNOME Policy: Link to Lunduke, Get Banned

    The Gnome Mafia?

"Posting links to content from Lunduke is an immediate ban on GNOME [sites]." Seriously. This a real thing. The one word officially banned by GNOME. Apparently there is nothing, on Earth, that GNOME fears more... than Lunduke.

While I generally don't care for banning overall, it *is* .... understandable?, considering the actions and annoyances from those who bring him up.
It isn't fear, it is the utter distractions and BS involved, often off-topic to whatever the discussion is about.
His sort of content easily becomes toxic quite regularly and quickly.
(the actual topics and whether one agrees with things is irrelevant)

And to be honestly, if this sort of s**t stuff started happening here, I'd probably consider a ban-hammer myself.

To be honest, I'd never heard of him before today. The weather has been awful so I was looking on Youtube for Linux news, building an all AMD rig, and other tech stuff, and this video popped up in the feed.

I'll probably not watch any more of his videos, this one was plenty...

He has been around for about as long as I can recall, originally on the Linux Action Show, which was popular and a good show/podcast back in the day.
In recent years, he's gone down a strange hill, as you can see.

I ain't got time for drama, there's too much beer to drink and lot's of X-Plane 12 to fly, and I'm no spring chicken,
although I've been known to quack!
