Indeed. I'm currently running 4.13.0-43-generic #48~16.04.1-Ubuntu SMP but it is not listed in any of the "fixes" for 16.04.4, which is where Neon is at.

4.13.0-43 is the patched kernel, it just was released before this article was written, a couple of weeks actually.
