mannikens to become humikans liberalism and your medical care

The school whereat I teach anatomy and physiology was informed this week, we were informed tonight, that the "manniken" that has interchangeable "private bits"... it is literally a "plugin thing". male or female...

will not be used next go around.

the "slot" where the female or male itty bits is supposed to go will be filled with the supplied "no part".

which then leads to removing "other parts" and we then have...don't know... a place to put

pop 'em in a zippy bag and they would fit right smartly and since we can't TEACH it...the students can snack while I get coffee.

Next time you have any kind of "tech" serving you ... if it has ANYthing to do with... itty bits...

i would actually just INSULT the person and ask for a doctor...unless this has spread upward...and then we are ALL scre@#$ by liberalism.

The removing private bits part is worrying. More worrying is the fact that university students are being taught middle school level anatomy...

      Exactly, wtf.
Even the Christian college where I taught, among other classes, anatomy & physiology for almost a decade had no problem with me using even more life-like anatomical models, photos, red&blue latex injected cadavers of various mammals for dissection purposes. In all that time not a single student, or their parents, expressed shock or righteous indignation. There wasn't any adolescent giggling either. Even Christian kids knew their morphology. Since many came from Midwest farming backgrounds they had seen it all before with lessons given by the animals on the farms where they grew up.

One of the BIG complaints against Christians during the previous Berkeley protests of the 60's was 1) they were too puritanical, and 2) they had no right to "impose" their moral standards on anyone else, especially when it came to fornication, adultery, and homosexual relationships. Those protests, and Woodstock, were all about Free Martian love.

My, how the worm has turned.

PS - By the way, Woodsmoke, did you find it hard to locate all 27 different gender anatomy parts for that manniken?

Is it any wonder now that surgeons sometimes remove an organ from the wrong patient? Or the wrong organ from the patient?

Colleges and Universities teach various levels of biology courses, depending on the core curriculum of the major the student has adopted. Pre-nursing and Pre-med get the full monty. Those students whose core requires only general biology usually get the manniken.

Sir, Your, uh, disease... is no longer politically correct and we must therefore release you from this hospital to free up the bed for someone with a more... acceptable, yes, acceptable ailment. We recommend that you try down the street at the free clinic. Take these rubber glove with our best wishes and try not to touch anybody on your way out.

Nurse, I've never heard of that organ before, did you ever run into it in your schooling? I think I will write a monograph on this for the Medical Journal, my name will be prominently shown at the top and I'll give you a footnote on page two. Make a note of that on the patients chart.

              [end sarcasm]

The more I think about this, the better the Witch Doctor sounds... Dr. Alfred Ngumbe, WD, graduated top of his class in the University of West Africa.

are you sure , where and why this decision is coming down from ?

it sounds more evangelical Christian conservative than liberal to me But I don't work their .

if I were you I would look into just where this is being handed down from .

I don't rely see people that identify them selves as the opposite sex that they are physically being upset by having the proper anatomy taught to future doctors that may be preforming a conversion operation on them at some time (I work with one of these , and she , soon to become he, is a fine person , as people go) ,,,,,,,,,this dose seem to be a bit much , the removing of the "ittybits" from "manniken" that is .

That was the point of my comment regarding how the worm has turned.
It 'sounds like it" because that's how Christians have been portrayed for the last 30 years. Impossible to express our beliefs without being accused of trying to impose it on everyone else. And now what do you have? A Leftist politically correct academia IMPOSING their belief system on everyone else at that institution. No big surprise, it's happening all across the country.

all I can say is , like I always say , extreme right or extreme left is just that , "extreme" .

both the "left" and the "right" must come to some concession (hacking off some of the left and right "itty bits" ) to find some middle ground that makes at least some sense to all or most .

That would be nice, but probably too idealistic. Would a Marxist renounce Marx or the Manefesto or Socialism for the sake of unity? A dedicated Marxist would not. Just yesterday former EU Prime Minister Junker said "Marx isn't responsible for all the atrocity his alleged heirs have to answer for".
That's the "No True Scotsman" fallacy. Then, to outlaw an opinion different from their own all Socialists do is call that opinion "hate speech" for which they've passed laws prohibiting such. The rub is in who defines what "hate" is.
                            Pat Condell said it best:

On the other shoe, what used to be center of the road political and cultural behavior in America for 250 years is now deemed "far right" by the media, which is mostly far left these days. For 2,000 years the Christian position on homosexuality has been based on Lev 18:22, 20:13 and Rom 1:27, among others. Will a Christian chuck those scriptures because they are not PC today, just to get along? Not even on his life.

IOW, these two political positions are matters of faith (Marxism is faith in man, Christianity is faith in Christ) and there is no room for compromise. Will the majority of the people reject both Marxism and Christianity? I doubt it. Europe has rejected Christianity but embraced Marxism. In the process they've imported a political/religious ideology which is more dangerous than they realize, or are willing to admit. Already in many parts of Britain Sharia law takes precedence of British Law, and as a result women have lost half of their political rights, rights they enjoyed when their nation was primarily Christian. Women there are now truly second class citizens in those Sharia controlled areas.

Will that political sway happen here in America? It is already happening.
