I thought 18.04 was releasing today. The download Kubuntu page only goes up to 18.10.1. Was the release delayed?

Where is Bionic Bever?
Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

I have been testing Bionic Beaver ever since I installed it on Kemu VMM, and have updated it almost every day. I kust finished doing the most recent updates, including the new kernel (4.15.0-20). Can I assume that I now have the same Kubuntu 18.04 LTS that is now being downloaded (except for what I installed, such as Ksudoku)?

Can I use my newly burned 18.04 dvd to upgrade or do I have to do a fresh install? I have no internet on my Linux box at the moment. Temporary problem.Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.

That explains why it was so late in the day. Suggestion, put a message at the top of the Kubuntu download page "new releases might be delayed a few days or hours due to last minute showstopper Bugs being discovered. Please be Patient." Highlight that in read.Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.
