Well, considering how “other people” are being raped, knifed, run down in groups, and shot up with real assault rifles, but are prosecuted for “hate” crimes if they complain about the lawlessness, perhaps they would be better off if they could defend themselves and not have to depend on police, who obviously can’t or won’t.

The large majority of lawless gun use is NOT by law abiding gun owners who follow the gun laws regardless of how unconstitutional (“shall not be infringed”), but by thugs living in ghettos in large metropolitan areas that have been controlled and ruled over by Democrats for 30-60 years and ignore gun laws entirely. These areas have the most restrictive gun laws in the country yet they have the most gun violence in our nation. Take their data out of the crime statistics and America’s ranking falls below most other nations.

Feuding? I wasn’t aware that robbery at 4AM by a gang of ARMED robbers is now classified as a feud. I guess that makes rape a sex party? Or embezzlement an asymmetrical financial transaction? Or car hijacking a share the ride activity? If we keep this line of reasoning up we can eliminate all forms of criminal activity and declare ourselves a crime free utopia.

The facts, as reported, indicate the guys in the invaded trailer were expecting the visitors. "Home invasion" is perhaps not the best characterization of what happened there.

Another aspect of the perception that Americans talk more frequently about guns, is the media beating the anti-gun drums and giving a larger forum (no pun intended) to the anti-gun groups.

I'm sad that the citizens of other countries have allowed their guns to be taken. That will not end well for them.

Those who claim the "higher moral standard" of not having guns are simply making themselves easy targets for those who want control, power and money.
